- For a current adult custody entry, start with the MDC Custody List. The MDC Arrest List and Release List cover different, short live windows.
- For a specific booking document or a record not displayed online, use the county Public Information Requests route and identify the person, booking date, booking number, arresting agency, or person ID if known.
- For case activity after booking, use New Mexico Case Lookup. A docket is not a complete certified court file.
- For a person in state corrections custody rather than county custody, use the New Mexico Corrections Department offender search.
- For a federal or immigration detainee, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator or the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
